The Lagos State Police Command is currently investigating a 25-year-old man, Chibunna Chiemelie, for allegedly stabbing his father to death at their residence on Oba Kabiru Street, Isolo, Lagos.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the suspect confessed to the crime following his arrest. “The neighbour informed him that his father, Mr Chiemelie, aged 68, was in an altercation with his son. The complainant rushed to the residence and found his father’s lifeless body in a pool of blood, which led to the police report” he added.
