Twenty-two women, aged 17 to 73, were arrested in an Geylang entertainment outlet on June 18 for offences under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act.

Twenty-two women, aged 17 to 73, were arrested in an Geylang public entertainment outlet on June 18 for offences under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act.

Between June 14 and 23, seven women, aged 32 to 51, were arrested for offences under the Women’s Charter at Lorong 10 and Lorong 22 Geylang. Eight men and 46 women, aged between 19 and 53, are being investigated for various offences under Women’s Charter Act, Gambling Control Act, Employment of Foreign Manpower Act, Tobacco Act and Customs Act.

On June 25, officers from Clementi Police Division and Housing Board conducted enforcement operations targeting massage establishments in Jurong East and Telok Blangah Drive.
