KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 22 roads in Putrajaya will be closed from 5am to 11am in conjunction with the National Day celebrations.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid said the roads would be closed in stages to ensure the celebrations run smoothly."We will deploy 1,764 police officers and personnel there from Aug 25 to 31, including for rehearsals and the eve of National Day," he told a press conference at the KL police headquarters on Friday .1.
