Other states with road accident cases in the triple digits during the two-week period are Pahang , Melaka , Sarawak , Sabah , Kelantan and Terengganu . “Up to 373,212 summonses were issued, of which 235,966 were for six offences – use of mobile phones while driving, beating traffic lights, driving over speed limits, using emergency lanes, cutting queues, and overtaking on double lines,” Bukit Aman Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department director Datuk Azisman Alias said in a statement last night.
