A 21-year-old woman was found decapitated Wednesday in her home in Waller County, Sheriff Troy Guidry said.
The main suspect as of Thursday morning is her spouse and he is in custody, the Waller County sheriff said. While there is no formal marriage, accounts from people the couple knew affirmed they were married, Guidry said.Her death was reported to law enforcement by her spouse’s family around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday. The couple lived in a small house behind his family’s larger home on Oak Hollow Boulevard.
The investigation is ongoing and limited information about the woman’s spouse was available Thursday.
