A spokesperson with the Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department confirmed a person suffered life-threatening injuries after a car crash involving a rickshaw Sunday.

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — A 21-year-old woman is dead following a single vehicle crash early Monday morning in Flagler County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The woman was driving south on Old Kings Road north of Town Center Boulevard at the time of the crash which occurred at 12:14 a.m. Monday.

For an unknown reason, the vehicle traveled into the northbound lane of Old Kings Road, before crashing into a tree. After the crash, the vehicle caught fire. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
