The Porsche 718 Boxster EV has been spied with the roof down and it features an evolutionary design with an edgier front end car auto cars
has been camera shy as of late. However, that’s changing today as a prototype was spotted with the roof down.Taycan
-inspired headlights and a new hood with sharp lines. Further below, there are large intakes that feature horizontal bars as well as what are believed to be vertical shutters. The evolutionary design continues further back as we can see streamlined bodywork that appears slightly more curvaceous. That being said, the rear quarter panels are covered and that’s likely because the side intakes will be eliminated as they’re no longer necessary. While that remains to be seen, the sculpting on the doors that directed air into the intakes is gone.There isn’t much to see out back, but there are slimmer taillights and a faux exhaust sticker that isn’t fooling anyone.
While the roof is down, there isn’t much to see inside as the dashboard is covered by cloth. That’s disappointing, but we can catch a glimpse of the steering wheel and what could be a digital instrument cluster.and GT4 e-Performance prototype could provide hints about what to expect. Specifics are lacking, but there should be rear- and all-wheel drive variants with performance that should be slightly better than today’s model but, presumably, without encroaching on the 911 too much.
