2023 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 Bison is the ultimate rock crawler pickup.
The improvements come courtesy of American Expedition Vehicles, an aftermarket company known for building off-road equipment for domestic vehicles like the Silverado. On top of the great standard equipment that comes with the normal ZR2, Bison-trimmed trucks get specific steel bumpers, five under-truck steel skidplates, rocker panel protection, and 18-inch AEV-made wheels with 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory mud-terrain tires.
The improvements mean an approach angle of 32.5 degrees and a departure angle of 23.4 degrees, 0.7 degrees and 0.1 degrees better than the standard ZR2, respectively. Ground clearance remains the same at 11.2 inches.
