A fully loaded Lariat variant is exclusive to that engine. It's clear that Ford wanted to keep the price as low as possible. With the Maverick Hybrid, you get 2000 lb of it with the towing package, this in contrast with 4,000 lb with the regular version. That’s obviously a big drop, but it's up to you to pick your battle, to see where your priorities lie.
When the model was first announced, some might recall that the average fuel consumption was promised at 5.9L/100 km combined. That’s obviously been revised upwards, but it's still pretty good. Here’s a bit of common-sense advice: Be quick. The first to reserve a Maverick Hybrid will get it relatively quickly, but if you haven’t yet reserved one for yourself, patience will be required.
