Kota Kinabalu: Some 200 Korean language enthusiasts gathered at the University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF) here to participate in the “Skill for Life: Basic Korean Language” programme.
The Korean language enthusiasts in a group photo after the event.Some 200 Korean language enthusiasts gathered at the University College Sabah Foundation here to participate in the “Skill for Life: Basic Korean Language” programme.The programme, organised by Sabah Youth and Sports Ministry and the Centre for Languages and Generic Development , UCSF, was aimed at providing a comprehensive introduction to the Korean language and communication.The participants were youths from the city area.
One of the participants, Annisa expressed her fascination with the Korean language and stated that the workshop was the perfect starting point for her, while another, Kelvin said the communication practices with the teacher were eye-opening and made him eager to explore more about the language.Dayangku Rahimah Pg Hassan, Chairwoman of the programme from JBS, encouraged the participants to continue building upon the foundation laid during the programme.
UCSF Vice Chancellor Dr. Rafiq Idris thanked the Advisor of JBS Metchella Febrynna Metha for choosing UCSF as the venue for the programme and for the opportunity to carry out the programme through CLGD. He expressed hope for future collaborations and for CLGD to be recognised as the go-to language hub of Kota Kinabalu.
