In Atimonan town, police reported that a truck driven by Ronald Pacuyao Jr. lost its brakes at 11:40 a.m. in a section of the highway in Barangay Malinao Ilaya. The wayward truck occupied the opposite lane and hit the oncoming motorcycle driven by Mark June Ramo. Ramo, who was wearing a helmet, died while being taken to Doña Martha Memorial District Hospital in the town proper.RELATED STORIES
