A shooting which left a 6-year-old boy with multiple gunshot wounds last week was the result of an ongoing dispute between teens at the Mobile apartment complex, police chief Paul Prine said Monday.
Jenkins has joined 19-year-old Zaire Titnamus Hughes, who was arrested last Wednesday, in Mobile Metro Jail. Williams remains in the Jackson County Adult Detention Center awaiting extradition to Mobile. “I believe the community is sick and tired of dealing with the same garbage over and over,” Prine said. “That’s why in less than a week you see we brought these individuals who otherwise we had no knowledge or clue as to their identity. We’ve been able to apprehend them.”
