Two more electric posts are in danger of toppling posing danger to residents in Tondo, Manila, on Monday, August 7.
Residents said there is a need to ensure the strong foundation for each electric post as these are only supported by wooden planks, cobwebs, and hanging wires.
They demanded that the posts and cable wires be moved to roadsides and instead of wood poles, concrete poles should be used in residential areas to ensure the safety of the residents. Truck drivers also complained about the tangled wires that can be seen dangling and running parallel across the roads which makes it difficult for them to navigate the roads.
