Cleve W. Lewis, 35, of Seabrook, was found guilty Friday of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder, along with second-degree counts of burglary and weapons possession, in the death of Derrick Harris. Co-defendant Gregrey A. Coombs, 44, also of Seabrook, was acquitted on murder and burglary charges, but found guilty of first-degree conspiracy to commit murder.As part of that plea, Gross admitted in court that he conspired with Lewis and Coombs to kill Harris and that the shooting related to a “bounty” placed on Harris over a prior theft, prosecutors said at the time.
Harris, 31, was shot as he answered the door of his apartment at Delsea Gardens apartments on Nov. 6, 2019.
