Police said they believe the caller making threats was the same person for both schools.
Two York County schools went into lockdowns on Monday afternoon after threats were called in, according to police.
At 2 p.m., Penn Township officers were called to Park Hill Elementary School, 137 West Granger Street, after receiving the threats call. The entire interior and exterior of the school were searched by officers and K9 units and were found to be clear, police said. The school went into lockdown while investigators from various agencies helped search and clear the school. The York County Sheriff’s Office, state police, Hanover police and West Manheim Township police all assisted in Monday’s searches.
