2 arrested after man killed at Chula Vista hotel, body dumped in Jamul [Breaking]
A man and a woman were arrested last week on suspicion of murder, accused of killing a 40-year-old man at a Chula Vista hotel and then dumping his body in Jamul, police said Monday.
Chula Vista police Lt. Anthony Molina said sheriff’s investigators learned Valdez was possibly killed at a hotel in the South County city.Chula Vista police detectives, who took over the investigation, learned — based on “information and evidence gathered during the initial stages” of the investigation — that Valdez was killed at the Red Roof Inn Hotel on Broadway near G Street and that his body was removed from the hotel, Molina said.
