The State Railway of Thailand issued a safety warning to passengers yesterday following a distressing incident that took place at Phatthalung Station in Phattalung province, where a woman fell out of the train while it was departing.

Ekkarat Sriarayanphong, SRT’s Chief of the Governor’s Office disclosed that the incident occurred on 5 August at 3.15pm on the local train No. 452 that was travelling from Sungai Kolok near the Malaysian border to Nakhon Si Thammarat province. Sustaining a minor injury to their finger and complaining of a headache, the woman was promptly taken to Phatthalung Hospital, where doctors examined her and conducted a brain scan.
