Police have been mounting roadblocks and checking on gatherings to ensure people are observing physical distancing.
In a statement, Ismail said 41 individuals were remanded, three were released on bail while the remaining 142 were issued compounds fines. On another matter, Ismail said that 1,942 checks were carried out on individuals who are undergoing home quarantine.
