: Sebanyak 183 pelajar sekolah di negeri ini ditahan kerana terlibat dengan kes jenayah sejak Januari hingga Oktober tahun ini, berbanding 85 orang bagi tempoh sama tahun lepas.berkata daripada jumlah keseluruhan membabitkan kedua-dua tahun itu, jenayah kekerasan merekodkan tangkapan tertinggi dengan 115 kes diikuti jenayah harta benda dan jenayah bukan indeks .
Beliau berkata demikian selepas menghadiri Program Pencegahan Jenayah dan Meniti Kerjaya Dalam Polis Diraja Malaysia di Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sungai Pari hari ini.
