Zelenskyy dalam videonya berkata, aset mereka di Ukraine kini disekat dan harta mereka akan digunakan sebagai pertahanan.
Menurut senarai yang diterbitkan oleh Majlis Keselamatan dan Pertahanan Ukraine, syarikat utama yang disekat dari memasuki negara berkenaan adalah membabitkan pengangkutan barangan, pajak kenderaan serta pengeluaran bahan kimia.
Senarai itu termasuk syarikat pengeluar dan pengeksport baja kalium hidroksida Russia Uralkali, pengeluar kalium hidroksida milik Belarus Belaruskali, Kereta api Belarus, serta syarikat pengurusan dan pajakan pengangkutan. Ukraine sebelum ini sudah mengenakan ratusan sekatan terhadap individu serta firma Russia dan Belarus sejak permulaan pencerobohan Russia ke atas Ukraine pada Februari tahun lalu. – REUTERS
