Alfonso Gonzalez is facing that charge, as well as tampering/fabricating physical evidence, in connection to the shooting of 17-year-old Dominic Partida in the early morning on March 20, court records show. Police say they responded to a shooting that day in the 900 block of Woolworth Street, where they found Partida close to his home when they arrived. The teenager had been shot in his chest, and paramedics transported him to a hospital, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. “Further investigation identified Gonzalez as a suspect, and on Monday , he was arrested without incident and charged for his role in the shooting,” police wrote in a release.
