17 individu disyaki pendatang tanpa izin ditahan dalam satu operasi bersepadu di Semporna awal pagi tadi.

Komander Kawasan Keselamatan Khas Pantai Timur Sabah Hazani Ghazali berkata, operasi bermula pukul 3 pagi itu melibatkan polis, Jabatan Imigresen, Elektrik Sabah Sdn Bhd, Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara, pasukan keselamatan dan Agensi Penguatkuasaan Maritim Malaysia. “Dalam operasi itu, 575 individu disaring dan 17 didapati tidak memiliki dokumen pengenalan diri atau membawa dokumen pengenalan yang diragui,” katanya.
