Scores of Cork passengers had to stay overnight at a Spanish airport last night after their flight home was suddenly cancelled and they may not fly home until tomorrow
150 passengers on a flight due to fly from Palma de Mallorca to Cork last night have been stranded overnight in Spain due to a sudden cancellation.

When their flight was cancelled last night, the cafés and restaurants at Palma de Mallorca Airport were closed and Damien says that many went the night without any food. He stressed that passengers were very confused about the situation, but added the airline has been able to help some passengers make it home.
"There was one flight that was supposed to take some of us but all the seats were sold out. Then there was another flight that was supposed to go with us to Barcelona and after that take us back to Dublin, and there were only a few spots and they were taken straight away," he told The Opinionline on Cork's 96FM.
