SAD UPDATE: 14-year-old boy dies days after being shot by suspects over pair of shoes in west Houston, HPD says
Police said two men shot and robbed the teen around 8:10 p.m. at an apartment complex, located in the 2500 block of Tanglewilde Street on Friday night.
Police said Turcios was in the parking lot of the complex when he was approached by two Hispanic male suspects. One or both of the suspects fired shots and struck the teen. The suspect allegedly fled in a dark Chrysler PT Cruiser. Turcios was taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to HPD. When investigators spoke to the teen when he was alive, he said the robbers were trying to steal his shoes off his feet.has been made to help the family pay for the teen’s funeral expenses.Copyright 2022 by KPRC Click2Houston - All rights reserved.
