johorbahru POLIS menahan 13 wanita warga Vietnam dan seorang wanita warga Thailand selepas dipercayai terbabit dalam kegiatan pelacuran pada serbuan yang dijalankan di sebuah hotel di Tampoi, Johor Bahru, semalam.
Ketua Polis Daerah Johor Bahru Utara, Asisten Komisioner Mohd Taib Ahmad berkata, bertindak atas risikan dan perkongsian maklumat, sepasukan polis Cawangan Anti Maksiat, Perjudian Dan Kongsi Gelap Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah, Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen Johor bersama Bahagian Siasatan Jenayah Daerah Johor Bahru Utara menjalankan serbuan, 8.30 malam di lokasi terbabit.
"Siasatan mendedahkan bayaran sebanyak RM200 dikenakan bagi setiap langganan wanita terbabit yang menunggu di bilik masing-masing. Beliau berkata, butiran seorang lelaki tempatan yang dipercayai mendalangi aktiviti itu sudah dikenal pasti dan polis kini memburu suspek terbabit.
