131 Malaysians stranded in Yemen return home

THE first group of 131 Malaysians reportedly stranded in Yemen since March following the Covid-19 pandemic, arrived safely at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport via a specially chartered Egypt Air flight at 8.34am today. Deputy Foreign Minister Kamarudin Jaffar said the second group of 17 people is scheduled to arrive tomorrow via an Emirates commercial flight at 12.55am.
