Video: Allies in angel costumes blocked protesters at an LGBTQ event for BYU students on Saturday night. They held hands and formed a shield as demonstrators yelled slurs at the back-to-school event.

Allies shielded students with the same type of wings that blocked anti-gay protesters during the 1999 trial for Matthew Shepard’s killers in Wyoming.
