KUALA LUMPUR: There has been an increase in the percentage of parents opting to receive the Early Schooling Aid funds through bank account credit transactions, says Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek .

Also present at the ceremony were the Prime Minister's wife, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil. The distribution of BAP to all schools under the ministry’s purview was completed on Jan 10, with a total amount of RM723,165,300 allocated to benefit more than 4 million Year 1 to Form 4 students.
