Germany's vast indoor boat show opens this week and could be the biggest in its 54-year history.
After a two-year Covid hiatus, the annual Boot Düsseldorf boat show—the world’s biggest indoor boating extravaganza—opens its doors this Saturday for a nine-day run.
With more than 1,500 exhibitors from 68 countries showing their wares in no fewer than 16 massive halls, the “boot” as it’s affectionally known, showcases every kind of watercraft, from paddleboards to superyachts. The space even includes an artificial river and a 213-foot-long pool for watersport demos. Situated on the banks of the Rhine, the event officially kicks the international boat show season. We picked the 10 newcomers debuting at the “Boot” that are guaranteed to grab the spotlight.
