Summary Tower of God season one set the groundwork for one of the most popular manhwa released in the past 20 years. The story is set around the titular Tower of God and its newest climber, the Twenty-Fifth Night, or Bam for short. It features the prologue and the first part of the series when Bam first enters the Tower, begins his search for Rachel, and ultimately, suffers one of the most unexpected and heart-wrenching betrayals in anime.

The team that acted together and beat the second floor tests was filled with some extremely powerful, smart, and all-around competent people. Some of the most notable people on Bam's new team include two Princesses of Jahad, Endorsi Jahad and Anak Jahad, Shipisu, Khun, Rak, and more.
7 Bam Finds Out Rachel is Around His Reason for Climbing the Tower Is Right in Front of Him Close The beginning of Tower of God featured Bam in a near caveman-like state. He seemed lost, confused, and in need of a haircut. Rachel came to him, taught him how to speak and read, and even gave him a name. When she left Bam to pursue the Tower, he was devastated. It's no wonder he decided to go after her even if it killed him.
Luckily for them, the group sees through their trick immediately and offers to help their newfound friend anyway. When Rachel comes back from the submerged fish test and reveals Bam passed away defending her, Rak and Khun are the most devastated. They're so affected by their loss they decide to continue supporting Rachel and help her climb the Tower, as that would be what Bam wants. Little did they know Rachel was the very person to send their friend into the abyss.
