1 victim taken to hospital after shooting at Azalea Road night spot
One person was taken to a local hospital after shots were fired around 9 a.m. at the closed Bank Nightlife bar, at 217 Azalea Road, near the intersection with Airport Boulevard.
The MPD said officers responded after 9 a.m. to a report of shots fired in the parking lot. Tthey discovered that a known male subject had fired shots towards the victim during a verbal altercation. The victim was not shot, police said. But, while trying to escape, he fell onto the ground and sustained an abrasion.
