AURORA, Colo. — A 15-year-old girl died Saturday, in the hours following a single-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 225.
Police said four teens in total were taken to a hospital after the crash, which forced the closure of the interstate at Alameda earlier in the day. A fifth teen was released to a guardian, police said late Saturday. Aurora police told Denver7 Saturday night that the car involved in the crash was stolen. The 15-year-old, who was a passenger in the car, was believed to be the only person with life-threatening injuries, police said.Our Traffic Unit continues their investigation into this incident to determine contributing factors and any charges, if applicable.
