The Chambersburg crash happened as one car tried to merge and was hit by a truck, state police said.

Police said the driver of a Toyota Camry merged onto Interstate 81 without enough clearance and was hit by a Dodge Ram.A woman in the back of the Toyota was ejected and died at the scene, the Franklin County coroner said. Her name hasn’t been released by police. Taken to hospitals were the driver and three other people inside the Toyota and the driver and two passengers from the Ram, police said.
