Velociraptors, Triceratops, and the mighty T. Rex populate the vistas of Jurassic Park, with these popular dinosaurs being some of the most well-remembered parts of Stephen Spielberg's classic movie.
Since the release of Jurassic Park in 1993, the dinosaur theme park has expanded massively across the franchise's various sequels and spin-offs. The two Jurassic Park sequels as well as the Jurassic World trilogy introduced all kinds of new dinosaurs to the series, including fictional species like the Indominus rex. However, some real dinosaurs that still haven't been featured in the franchise were actually teased all the way back in the 1993 original.
The cold storage embryo room has several dinosaurs that are seen throughout Jurassic Park labeled, such as the T. rex, the Brachiosaurus, the Dilophosaurus, the Gallimimus, the Velociraptor, the Stegosaurus, and the Triceratops. However, it also features labels of other dinosaurs that aren't seen elsewhere such as the Proceratosaurus, the Metriacanthosaurus, the Baryonyx, and the Compsognathus.
Why Jurassic Park Never Showed The Embryo Dinosaurs Although the use of these dinosaurs was teased all the way back in 1993, some of these animals were never seen in any of the Jurassic Park sequels. For example, although there is lore surrounding the Proceratosaurus and the Metricanthosaurus, they don't show up in any of the six mainline Jurassic Park movies. However, there is a good reason.
