Noted industry analyst Daniel Ahmad has revealed that of that 100 million, the U.S. accounts for 30 million sales, making it the biggest individual market. Japan is next on 8.3 million, followed by Germany on 7.2 million, and the UK on 6.8 million. Since the UK’s population is around 67.5 million that means there’s approximately one PlayStation 4 for every 10 people in the UK.
PlayStation 4 sell through in the US has now surpassed 30 million, with the market accounting for approximately 30% of total PS4 sales.
