The crash happened on State Route 57 at Griswold Road near I-90 in Elyria Township.
ELYRIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio - The Ohio State Highway Patrol said early Monday that troopers are investigating a deadly crash after a car struck a semi tractor-trailer in Lorain County.OSHP has identified the deceased victim as 37-year-old Ashley Brown, of Lorain.
The highway patrol said Brown was driving a Toyota Camry with four passengers when she ran a red light and struck the semi-truck. According to a news release, the semi-truck was making a turn onto State Route 57 when the crash took place. The Toyota’s passengers included a 31-year-old man, 24-year-old woman, 18-year-old woman and 25-year-old man.
OSHP said the 31-year-old has life-threatening injuries while the three others have serious injuries.It’s currently unknown if impairment played a role in the crash, according to the release.State Route 57 was shut down for nearly four hours.Most Read
